We try to remove as many barriers to attending Tech Forum as possible. In that vein, we’re providing live captioning for many of our online sessions this year.
We also realize that there are many ways for conferences to be accessible and non-accessible to attendees. Attendees can note any accessibility needs or requests during registration, and we will accommodate all requests as much possible. We urge you to get in touch with us if you have any particular concerns.
This year’s virtual conference will be delivered mostly on Zoom or YouTube. Read the technical requirements page to see more details on what’s necessary to join the sessions on those platforms.
Be sure to use #TechForum if you’re online and talking about the conference!
Yes! We have links to videos, slides, and photos from past events here.
We’re always interested in hearing about partnerships. Drop us a line and let us know what you’re thinking.
For most Tech Forum 2021 sessions you can register for free or with a “pay what you can” donation. But if a listed ticket price is prohibitive to your participation, please contact techforum@booknetcanada.ca and we’ll be happy to discuss it.

Absolutely! You can share your ideas and suggestions by simply sending us a note. We would even love to hear from you if, for example, you’re a retailer who would like to be considered for a panel on bookselling. If you have a specific talk/workshop you’d like to put up for consideration and you think you’re the right person to present it, send us your pitch.
Our ebookcraft conference has been integrated into the larger Tech Forum conference.
Refunds are not permitted, but tickets can be transferred with at least 10 days notice before the conference. Contact us to request a transfer.
You are likely not out of luck. Most of our sessions (with some exceptions) will be recorded and posted to YouTube in the weeks following the sessions. Subscribe to the BookNet YouTube channel to be notified when we upload new videos.
